“WE KEEP YOU MOVING”
The air conditioning unit in your vehicle operates similarly to a refrigerator. Your vehicle’s air conditioning unit is designed to move heat from the inside of your car to outside of it.
Your vehicle’s air conditioning unit has six major components:
- The refrigerant carries heat.
- The compressor circulates and compresses refrigerant within the vehicle’s cooling system.
- Your vehicle’s condenser changes the refrigerant from gas to liquid and expels heat from the car.
- The expansion valve is a nozzle that simultaneously drops the pressure of the refrigerant liquid, meters its flow and atomizes it.
- Your vehicle’s evaporator transfers heat to the refrigerant from the air blown across it, cooling your car.
- The receiver or dryer filters your vehicle’s refrigerant and oil, removing moisture and other contaminants from them.
If any of these components is damaged or leaking, it can turn your cool car into a furnace during the summer months. Your vehicle’s air conditioning issue could be as simple as recharging the system, or it could be more complicated. When your AC unit is not working as it should, bring your vehicle to one of our trained air conditioning specialists will inspect every component of the system and recommend the best solution.
Axle Repair and Replacement
Your vehicle’s axles are vital to keeping you safe on the road. They are just as important as other safety devices on your vehicle, such as brakes and tires. Axles bear all of your vehicle’s weight and connect its wheels to drive the vehicle. Axles are also an important part of power steering.
Most of today’s vehicles are built using split axles, which means the wheel on each side of the axle is attached to a separate shaft. Split axles allow independent suspension of the left and right wheels, which allows for a smoother ride. These modern designs also permit the left and right wheels to rotate at different speeds as the vehicle turns. By allowing each side to rotate at different speeds, the split axle improves traction and extends tire life, saving you money in the long run. This particular component is called the differential. On the other end, connecting the shaft to the wheel, is a CV joint.
If your vehicle is not turning smoothly or hear the common “popping” noise, you might need an axle repair. Bring your vehicle to today for timely and cost effecient reapir!
Brakes are one of the most important safety devices on your car. If you’ve ever partially lost your brakes in the past, you’ll agree that it’s not something you want to experience again. Inspecting your brakes twice a year for wear and damage can protect you and your passengers. And as always, keep an ear out for the dreaded squeak! We offer brake kits for many most and models for $229.95 (labor included!)
Other properties of the brake system include:
- Master Cylinder (and slave cylinder on manual transmission vehicles)
- Brake Fluid
- Brake lines that carry the brake fluid
If you live in a larger city, you may be subject to emissions testing. If you fail your emissions test, you may need to get your exhaust system repaired or replaced. While your exhaust system helps reduce noise output from your vehicle, it also significantly reduces harmful emissions from being released into the air. When your muffler and exhaust system functions properly, it lessens your vehicle’s negative impact on the environment.
Parts of your exhaust system include manifold(s), muffler(s), exhaust pipe, catalytic convertors, tips, and hangers.
If any of the components of your vehicle’s exhaust system fail, your car can suffer reduced fuel economy, engine misfires, and excess pollution. The Delta team can inspect and repair your entire exhaust system to ensure your vehicle is running cleanly.
We also offer custom, after-market exhaust system installation!
The best way to prevent long-term and costly problems with your vehicle is to keep up with its preventative maintenance schedule.
The maintenance schedule within your owner’s manual is provided by the people who understand your vehicle the best—the company that built it. The manufacturer provides suggestions for how often you need to change your oil, filters, driving belts, timing belts and more.
Our team can keep your vehicle in top shape by performing the following maintenance:
- Inspecting and replacing timing chains/belts (recommended between 60-100k miles)
- Replacing worn belts
- Regular oil changes
- Checking and replacing batteries and connection components
- Engine and cabin air filter replacements
- Tune up- spark plugs, wires, coils
- Tire rotation and balancing
- Wheel alignment
By following your vehicle’s owner’s manual in congruence with your technician’s recommendations and having your vehicle serviced regularly, you can greatly reduce problems and save money in the long run. Let the expert team at Delta Auto keep your vehicle in tip-top shape.
Radiator/ Cooling Services
Your vehicle’s radiator helps keep your engine cool. Overheated engines can lead to numerous problems, including breakdowns and a completely ruined motor. Your vehicle’s radiator is made up of slim, hollow channels that run between the inlet and outlet tanks which are constructed to cool the heat-carrying antifreeze from your engine. The coolant cycles back through the engine, where it absorbs more heat. This cycle allows the engine to keep working at ideal temperatures.
Puddles of green or orange coolant under your car and/or overheating indicate that your radiator, hoses, or other parts of the cooling system need to be repaired. Bring your vehicle to Delta Auto where our experts can fix leaks or replace parts so you can get back on the road worry-free!

We purchased a toy vehicle or a midlife crisis and it became a nightmare until meeting Chris and the staff at Corley’s Delta Auto
Delta auto was a life saver on our road trip! We broke down in Canton and we couldn’t have asked for a better staff! We were stuck all day but their lovely lounge made it not even feel like we were stuck! The staff was so nice and they got our van straight in! They were also honest and fair about what work needed done- being from out of town we were a bit nervous going to a mechanic we didn’t know! But everyone at the shop put us at ease and chatted with us all day! Now we are in Texas and our van has many more miles to go thanks to the wonderful staff at Delta auto!
Went in today to make an appointment and Chris said, I got you , I can do it now , top notch service .
Great service very friendly staff and most of all got what I needed done in a reasonable time…..
Chris,Brandon , and the rest of the crew at Delta muffler do a great job and stand behind their work. They are very conscious about their work and are a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to take my 1963 mercury back to their shop for repairs. Thank you Delta Muffler in Canton
The staff is very friendly and the work is too notch. Their pricing is extremely fair and they got me in and out very quickly. I love their new location, glad to see them moving up!
We were on a road trip from Wisconsin making our way out west! Canton became a stop on our trip that wasn’t planned when our van decided not to start! Delta Auto became our hero for the day! They had an amazing lounge area where we spent most of the day. We were so thankful for the team that kept reassuring us throughout the day. They even offered to get us lunch while we waited. We can’t thank enough the owners and team of mechanics that helped keep this trip going. After it was all said and done they told us what else could use work and really helped us on the price . The staff was amazing and service even better!
Friendly and reasonably priced auto care. Thought I was gonna have to replace the power steering pump on my 07 f-150. Until, this honest place told me that I could get by with a $3 gasket. Imagine my surprise that they didn’t try to talk me into a new pump and extras.
